Jo, one of our crack naturalists, is spending one morning per week in the Hull schools. Here’s what she did with the kids in the month of October:
This month, in the Hull schools’ science enrichment class, we talked about everything that makes a happy habitat. Our buddy, Bucky the beaver, was a huge hit in this discussion! We learned about all the characteristics and adaptations that make a beaver well-suited for their habitats. As a follow up, we asked parents to see how many different types of habitats their children could name!
