Jo, one of our superstar naturalists, is spending one morning per week in the Hull schools. Here’s what she’s doing with the kids in the month of November:
This month, in science enrichment, we are learning about different types of turtles found in Massachusetts. From Wood, to Snapping, to Box, to Sea, there are many intriguing quirks about our reptilian friends. The youngest of our students are learning about animal comparisons through the story, I Wish I Could Fly by Ron Maris. Our slightly older students are studying the different features of three species of turtles to see if they can make educated guesses about their lifestyles and habitats.
