Program Description
Teacher and naturalist, Marcia Wilson, and her husband Mark, a wildlife photojournalist and author, have thrilled audiences of all ages with their live owl presentations for the past 30 years. They will introduce you to 6 live owls, highlighting their unique adaptations, habitats, and behaviors in the wild. They will also share tips on how you can look and listen for owls yourself. Everyone will get to practice the owls’ calls during the hooting lessons! It’s New England’s favorite wildlife program!
Attendees can purchase copies of Mark’s award-winning book, Owling (Hachett 2019) and The Snowy Owl Scientist (Harper Collins 2022), signed and personalized by the author in person after the program. Each book will be available for $20, cash or credit.
