Stay active and engaged with nature this winter! Join the North and South Rivers Watershed Association, South Shore Natural Science Center, and Mass Audubon for the 2021 Winter Nature Challenge!

Join the virtual talk and discover something new. From owl watching, to winter beachcombing, the range of topics will be diverse, fun, and interesting! Take your new knowledge a step further by joining in a guided outdoor event ($) and by completing the weekly challenge.

Are you a beach goer but don’t think there’s stuff to see this time of year? Do you commonly visit a beach, but aren’t sure what you’re looking at? Want to impress your family with some amazing coastal knowledge? Join NSRWA’s Ecologist Dr. Sara Grady as we learn and discover the unique ecology of our South Shore Coasts. ID species, where to go, what to look for, fun facts, will be some of the many topics included in this week’s Winter Nature Challenge talk. Gain the resources you need to have a fun and rewarding visit to our Local coastline. The virtual talk will include a Q and A session with Sara!
